About Me

Rodd Frank is the owner of Presidio Custom Metal Works. With over 30 years of experience in the metalwork industry, Rodd brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his clients. He has experience in numerous aspects of miscellaneous metal products, including railing, commercial covers, gates, powder coating, and animal enclosures. 

In 2001, Rodd became a partner at his previous fencing company. During the next 18 years, he grew the company from four employees to 50 employees, maintained connections with current clients, and grew the company’s client base. His commitment to honesty and integrity ensured lasting relationships with his clients. 

These client relationships form the cornerstone of the Presidio business model. Rodd’s dedication to the needs of his clients, combined with his ability to use his various talents to offer creative solutions, ensures that his clients return to his company again and again.  

Rodd appreciates the opportunity metalwork offers to create tangible results. He loves developing customized solutions for his clients, and his experience in multiple aspects of design, fabrication, and installation ensure that when you call Rodd, it’s done. 

Rodd lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife Wendy and son Kyle (Rodd’s oldest son, Ryan, has moved his career to Oklahoma). Rodd has volunteered as an assistant scoutmaster for the past decade, and he has been running Round Rock Men’s Soccer Association, an over-30 league, for 12 years. When he’s not working, he enjoys playing soccer and riding motorcycles.
